Carly Roland is an award-winning director and actress based in Los Angeles and has appeared in various films, television shows, and commercials. In 2020, Roland was named one of Hollywood's up-and-coming multi-hyphenate artists by Women In Film and was accepted into their prestigious mentorship program.

Roland's background in journalism and penchants for bold, justice-driven storytelling led her to create the podcast Marginalized Murder: The Case of the 51. Roland spent two years investigating this complex serial murder mystery out of Chicago. The podcast resonated with a large audience and was nominated for a People's Choice Award and landed on Apple's Podcast Charts.
